Formed in 2000. Just Ordinary Men is a small group that has grown from strength to strength; capable of transporting members of the public back to the days of World War Two with a realism that is second to none. We usually do not just provide a 'static display' with members sitting back sipping tea. When at your event ... you will always find us undertaking on or off duty period activities either as a set time display or as part of a daily routine.
Our purpose is to keep the memory of those who did not make it home ..... Alive!
We have gained a national and international reputation for professionalism and historical accuracy which has placed us in the enviable position of receiving recommendations and referals from organisers of summers fetes and major living history and militaria shows such as War and Peace and Military Odyssey through to the Royal British Legion and English Heritage.
Don't forget. We do not just portray Airborne Reconnaissance. We also portray the 2nd and 12th Parachute Battalion's of the 1st & 6th British Airborne.
